Victory Prima Pils

This was the first time that I had tried (or heard of) a Victory Prima Pils.  This beer comes from the Victory Brewery in Downingtown, PA.  There is a great story on the website on how the brewery was founded.  Basically it was by two guys who met on the school bus in fifth grade.

As for the beer, it was basically a little too hoppy for my taste.  They say that it is brewed in "the tradition of great pilsners of Europe."  Don't get me wrong, it was not a bad beer.  It was a little cloudy, which I like, and fairly easy drinking.  If you are one that likes his/her beer with a kick of hops, then this might be a great selection.

Overall, I am glad I tried this beer.  It was from a "build your own" six pack, and it only cost a dollar............which is hard to beat, and it has a very respectable ABV of 5.3% .
