This was another selection from the "build your own" six pack that my buddy Adam hooked me up with. It is from the Mendocino Brewing Co. out of Saratoga Springs, NY.
When it comes to pale ales, I am no expert. I really don't rush out to purchase them because they tend to be a little hoppy for my taste ( but not as bad as IPA's). This one wasn't that bad. It still had the hoppy flavor, but it wasn't over the top. The beer was "medium bodied," and it had a real good citrus bite which I liked. I also liked the 6.1% ABV!
This was the first beer that I have had from the Mendocino Brewing Co. ...... not too shabby. I have another one of their selections in my fridge. Looking forward to busting it out shortly.
