St. Pauli Girl Special Dark

I have to admit, it has been a while since I have had any St. Pauli Girl.  I like dark editions of select beers, so I figured I would give it a try.  I might have been inspired also by JT's review of Heineken Dark.

This 4.8% ABV lager was not that bad.  It mainly tasted like a robust version of St. Pauli Girl......which I like better than the original.  It is worth trying and I am glad I bought it. 

Will I buy it again?  Probably not.  I say this because of the price.  Maybe it was just my beer store, but paying over $8.00 a six pack just didn't make cents (see what I did there) to me.
